Yesterday a family of 7 came by; mom, dad & their 5 kids. Oldest daughter being 11, son 9, two younger son's 6 & little girl 2. The older two came to learn about archery; how to build themselves a quick bow & some arrows while out in the woods playing.
Joseph took down a few branches out of the woods for them and showed them how to quickly tiller 2 for the older kids & glued two shoots together for the younger boys. He showed them how to straighten some wistaria branches & use duck tape for their fletch's.
The kids got to shoot the bow's he made & the arrow's they made.
The young lady took to it very joyfully, after some frustration, and the young man was a natural.
Knowing these kids will probably spend the whole trip home bugging their parents for more time spent doing archery is what makes our job so much fun.
