This course is separate from the Ancestors Way it is intended to teach a way of life that is symbiotic with our primitive nature and Mother Earth. We want to teach you a modern perspective on old world living.
This is for folks who aren't accustomed to country living but want to learn some of the basics. We will have special guest instructors who will teach you about canning, gathering and prepairing firewood, planting food plots, caring and handling tools you should have around the house and how to use them safely. You’ll learn basic carpentry skills so you can mend those small things that keep falling apart. And other skills to help you be more self-reliant within this hectic society and to feel more comfortable on your own homestead. As instructors become available we will post times and dates for sessions. Or contact us for scheduling and prices. |

The Catskills have been home to Nuné most of her life after being born in NYC. Even though she moved around a little she always came home for the holidays and finally settled back into Sullivan County more than 15 years ago. As a child she took great interest in plants and herbalism. Learning about homeopathy, biology and botany from her godfather, she spent all her free time in the woods and the lakes around her home. She learned to fish from her grandfather and spent every summer camping on the Delaware with her father. She found archery in high school and once her teacher discovered she was a lefty, she excelled and relished the skill. She taught herself about geology and furthered her knowledge on biology and botany in college, luckily there was archery in college as well. When she found the S.C.A. she found her mate and together they’ve been shooting bows and building a simple life, living off the land as best they could, ever since.
"Myself; well I'm a neopagan haus wife. So that means I'm a gardner, a cook, the nurse, bookkeeper, tech support, schedule organizer, hedonist, marketing manager, a realtor, rancher, archer, fisher & fencer in training. I am a certified Homeopath. I practice herbalism & forage wild edibles. And from time to time I helped raise Joseph's two boys before they choice to serve our country. I love helping build our business, I've started teaching archery and learned axe throwing so I could teach that as well. I even dabble in fletching when the time allows. Soon I'll learn to be a wilderness instructor but for now I'm loving my new job in research and development."-Nuné
Blessed be and Thank you.
